Convert JPG to PDF
Turn photos, scans and screenshots into a single PDF document. Put the pages in the right order, pick a page size and download the PDF. Your images never leave your device.
100% private: processed on your device, nothing is uploaded.
Each image becomes one page. Drag the rows or use the arrows to change the order.
How it works
- Choose or drag your images into the box above. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC all work.
- Drag the rows or use the arrows to set the page order, and choose the page size, orientation and margin.
- Click “Create PDF”. Each image becomes one page of the downloaded PDF.
When do you need a PDF instead of images?
Many forms and portals only accept a single PDF: proof of address, payslips, receipts for an expense claim, or the front and back of a document. A PDF keeps several pages together in a fixed order, so the recipient sees them exactly as you intended.
Quality and file size
Most JPG photos are placed in the PDF as they are, without compressing them again, so there is no quality loss and the PDF is barely larger than the photos together. PNG, WebP and HEIC images are converted to high-quality JPG first, because that is the image format every PDF reader understands. Transparent areas become white.
Is the PDF too large for an upload form? Compress the photos first with “Compress image”, then create the PDF again.
Frequently asked questions
Which page size should I choose?
A4 is the standard in Europe and most of the world; Letter is used in the US and Canada. Choose “Fit to image” when the PDF is only for viewing on screen: every page then has exactly the shape of its image.
What does automatic orientation do?
Each page gets the orientation of its image: portrait photos on a portrait page, landscape photos on a landscape page. Choose portrait or landscape to give every page the same orientation.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
No fixed limit. Everything runs in your browser, so the only limit is your device’s memory. A few hundred phone photos is usually no problem on a laptop.
Are iPhone photos (HEIC) supported?
Yes. HEIC photos are opened in your browser and added to the PDF as JPG pages. The PDF opens on every computer and phone.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is put together by your browser on your own device. That makes the tool safe for documents with personal information, such as ID cards or bank statements.
